2/10 at 2pm Classical Guitarist, Peter Fletcher is returning with some new exciting classical guitar. Some highlights of current performances: We are all very excited about Peter's Detroit solo recital debut, which will take place on Sunday, May 6th as part of the very prestigious Cathedral Cultural Series at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, a Gothic Revival Style Roman Catholic cathedral church. Last Fall, Peter released "Peter Fletcher on Tour" a CD which features live as well as studio recordings.  Currently, he is working on two recordings to be released on the Centaur Records Label, an all-Bach album and a transcription project featuring the music of French composer Georges Bizet. This Summer, Peter will collaborate with New York Based tenor Irwin Reese in Music for Art's Sake, a guitar and voice recital which will take place in the lovely North Rosedale Park Community House in Detroit, MI. Program to be held in the DCR. Refreshments will be served.

2/14 at 2pm Linda Cole Valentine’s Day concert: What can really be said about one of our favorite performers, Linda Cole? Once again, she will be performing her musical magic and entertaining us with Valentine’s Day trivia. Unfortunately, Mother Cole will not be able to attend, however rumor has it that Linda just might enhance her program with a saxophone! Please join us for the fun and all the lovin”! Program to be held in the DCR. Refreshments will be served.

FLAGLER COUNTY HISTORY = Flagler History as compiled by members of the Flagler County Historical Society and Friends of the Library.  Here is our Flagler Memories project offering video, text and voice interviews of early residents.  The Flagler County History web page contains papers, video, and interviews conducted by Friends of the Library members over the years and is an interesting store of knowledge.
